You got 450. Paper pile was 600. Brain already doing 450/600 in the auto and then you drop the phone because someone in the group said 72. It is not 72. I still remember typing 450 into a calculator app and hitting % like the button would guess the 600. It never does. You have to give both numbers.

Which box you actually fill

If 450 is five papers added, 600 must be five papers added. Dont mix a 80 paper leftover from internals. A second classic: mixing marks of two different exams in one percent. Preboard plus board is two percents. Improvement plus original is a policy question, not a blend.

450/600 is the search Google still loves because it is a full sentence from a scared kid. The maths is grade 6. The panic is class 12. Write 75 with two decimals if a form has two boxes after the point. Some portals eat 75 and some want 75.00. MarkBoard shows two.

If two papers remaining, remaining max is the sum of those totals. If parents are watching, I say the recipe before the number so they dont remix it. Then I close the tab. The number is not going to improve because I stare.
