Improvement exam?
Use the percent after improvement as new, old as previous marksheet. Dont mix subject totals with percents.
Point jump vs relative?
62 to 71 is 9 points. Relative is 9/62. Parents usually want the 9 points.
Can it be negative?
Yes if new is lower. Tool will show a drop. Not pretty, still useful.
